A Green Market on a Snowy Saturday

Gossetts' Farm Market will be open this Saturday, January 21, from 9 a.m. till 1 p.m. The weather forecasters are calling for some snow, but our farmers are going to make the trip to South Salem despite the weather. Come shop for the best farm fresh food in town and show your support for their efforts.

Gaia's Breath Farm will be at the Market with a new sausage; veal with lemon, oregano and herbs as well as fresh Large Black pork. Remember to say hi to our new bread vendor, Meredith's Bread and take a walk through the Nursery to pick up any houseplant supplies and organic seeds.

It is never to early to plant, all you need is an empty windowsill or a warm sunny spot in your house. The Nursery has the seed starting kits, soil and all the supplies you need to get some green growing in your home today!

Farm fresh food, organic seeds, catching up with friends and neighbors while you shop local. Now thats something even a blizzard cant touch! See you Saturday.
