Winter makes a brief return
It seems that old man winters alarm clock has failed to go off and no one is complaining! Last Saturday was amazing, almost 60 degrees and the market was as busy as it gets in the spring. But this Saturday old man
winter makes a brief appearance and we are all back inside next to the wood burning stove where it is cozy and warm.
Come join us as our farmers show an amazing display of winter vegetables and other goods. Gaia's Breath will have some wonderful new sheep, goat and cow cheeses from Dutch Girl Cheese. Gossett Nursery has been busy putting away all the holiday items and the shelves are full of spring items for your home garden and plants that you can buy this Saturday. In fact, Gossett Nursery is having a sale Saturday on all its Miracle Gro products. Save 20% on all your favorite Miracle Gro items. Give your house plants a little pick me up or just save your discounted Miracle Gro for the spring. Also we just got in our first shipment of organic seeds! Stock up now, start growing these beauties on your windowsill or greenhouse and they will be ready for the ground in the spring.
Gossetts' Farm Market also welcomes a new bread vender to the market! Meredith's Country Bakery is will be here this Saturday with their amazing selection of fine, home made breads. CLICK HERE to go to their website to see some samples if what they make.
So as we say goodbye to the holiday season, watch our routine get back to its normal crazy pace, and see just how long old man winter is going to hang around, we hope you come and support your local farmers market. Farm freshness, every Saturday for 52 weeks! You got to love small town living. See you Saturday!
